Statement of General Policy is:
- To create and maintain a healthy and safe environment for all associates, volunteers, members, clients, participants and the public.
- To manage any potential health and safety risks that may arise from any activities or services provided.
- To prevent accidents and/or illness by maintaining safe and healthy working conditions.
- To carry out risk assessments at venues, of facilities, etc.
- To provide and maintain safe working equipment.
Responsibilities:
- Sing Fabulous Ltd: To ensure that all health and safety standards are maintained and improved Sing Fabulous Ltd will;
- Consult with all associates and volunteers on health and safety matters.
- Review and monitor this Health & Safety Policy regularly to ensure it is put in to practice effectively.
- Associates & Volunteers: All associates and volunteers should adhere to this Health & Safety Policy and;
- Co-operate with Sing Fabulous Ltd on all health and safety matters.
- Take reasonable care of their own health and safety.
- Report all health and safety concerns to Sing Fabulous Ltd.
- Maintain equipment, carrying out relevant checks on all personal and/or equipment provided by Sing Fabulous Ltd.
- Follow instruction, information and training provided by Sing Fabulous Ltd.
- Complete first aid training (maintaining valid certification), complete risk assessments, keep records, follow accident book training, follow emergency procedures, maintain their own personal active Public Liability Insurance, CPD training, and any memberships with relevant governing bodies
Risk Assessments:
- To complete risk assessments and take action where relevant.
- To review risk assessments when the environment, working conditions or habits change.
Training:
- To provide clear instruction, information and adequate training to associates and volunteers to ensure they are competent to carry out their work, including but not limited to; risk assessment training, record keeping, accident book training, etc.
Consultation:
- Sing Fabulous Ltd associates and volunteers will be consulted on any general health and safety matters as they arise.
- Sing Fabulous Ltd will regularly review and where necessary revise this Health & Safety Policy.
- Sing Fabulous Ltd will consult with all associates and volunteers on any matters affecting their health and safety.
Evacuation:
- Sing Fabulous Ltd will ensure all associates, volunteers, members, clients, participants are made aware of all venue fire exits, escape routes (with guidance on keeping them clear at all times), assembly points and all venue Health & Safety Policy and procedures, rules and regulations for evacuation prior to a rehearsal(s)/lesson(s)/session(s) or performance/concert/event beginning.
Public Liability Insurance:
- Sing Fabulous Ltd has Public Liability Insurance.
- All Sing Fabulous Ltd associates/volunteers must either be covered by their own personal Public Liability Insurance or will be covered by the Public Liability Insurance of Sing Fabulous Ltd.
