Meet Our Founder & Director
Hi, my name is Debra and I have been blessed to enjoy an extensive career within the UK Music Industry singing, songwriting and producing music for myself, other artists, with many publishers and record companies including Universal Music, 19, EMI and Sony, BMG, etc., in addition to composing music for BBC, ITV, E4/Ch4.
My songs have played across the world on Radio, TV, and MTV and in many venues for live music tours. Singing and songwriting in a studio setting has brought a wide variety of collaborations and recordings with Grammy Award and Brit Award winning producers and songwriters resulting in Top Ten UK Chart success, No 1 Hits in UK and Europe, US Chart Success and even Tour Anthems across the USA.
Music of all genres has inspired to bring a wealth of experience from the earliest days singing in folk clubs with my guitar through to a two year college Diploma in Theatre Studies, winning two singing awards and sessions with Prof Mary Hammond of the Royal College of Music and subsequently leading roles in UK Musical Theatre tours, singing performances across Europe and comprehensive experience in studio sessions, recording radio jingles, fronting big-band shows, singing with Ronnie Scott’s ‘All Stars’, performing at music festivals, and much more.
Dipping in to the dance music genre led to co-writing ‘Blue Water’ which became Pete Tong’s BBC Radio 1’s Essential Tune, featured on a British movie soundtrack along with the music video featuring on all MTV channels.
Later I produced my debut solo album, ‘Child of The Universe’ which featured on BBC Radio 2’s playlist for ‘Good Morning Sunday’.
